50TH ANNIVERSARY
The Greater Springfield USBC Women's Bowling Assoc. is celebrating its 50th Anniversary, 1959-2009. We would like to extend an invitation to all current and past women bowling members of our ten-pin organization to join us on Nov. 8 at AMF Airway Lanes, 1387 Liberty St., Springfield from 1 - 5 p.m. There will be light refreshments, a fun tournament (free to all who wish to participate), door prizes, music and raffles. RED CROSS SWIMMING LESSONS
Ages 4 - 18. All levels are taught by our experienced lifeguards in Longmeadow. Class levels may be combined depending on enrollment. Children should be comfortable in the water and toilet trained. Instruction will focus on stroke development, endurance and water safety. Lessons are on Sat. beginning Nov. 14 - Jan. 9; level 1 beginners will be from 2:30 - 3 p.m. and level 2 from 3:15 - 4 p.m. (must be able to do a front and back float and paddle across the pool).
