Springfield Falcons gain new partners on ice and in the community |

SPRINGFIELD The Edmonton Oilers announced the assignment of two players to their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Springfield Falcons.
Assigned to Springfield: Theo Peckham (D). Placed on waivers for the purpose of assignment: Liam Reddox (LW).
The Falcons entering their 16th AHL season and third year with their National Hockey League affiliate, the Edmonton Oilers.

The Springfield Falcons are supporting the annual "March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction" on Nov. 2 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Basketball Hall of Fame.
Individuals attending will be able to sample foods from the finest chefs in Western Massachusetts, as well as have the opportunity to take part in both a silent and live auction featuring items from local businesses and items throughout the sports world.
Members of the Falcons Front Office will be volunteering at this event, as well as Falcons memorabilia will be part of the auctions. All proceeds benefit the March of Dimes mission for improving the health of babies.

The Springfield Falcons have announce the Hometown Heroes program sponsored by Durocher Florist.
This nightly promotion will recognize a local hero nominated by fans at each Falcons home game this season. The winner receives a pair of tickets to a Falcons game, and gets recognized on the MassMutual Center video board, receives a flower bouquet courtesy of Durocher Florist and a gift certificate courtesy of a local restaurant.
A hometown hero must be at least 18-years-old and volunteer time or services to an organization. To nominate your hometown hero online, simply go to the Falcons web site, www.falconsahl.com and click on the Hometown Heroes button on the home page.
