Falcons announce home game dates |

SPRINGFIELD -- The Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League (AHL), announced six of their home game dates for the 2010-2011 season last week. The Falcons will be entering their 17th AHL season. Falcons six approved home dates for 2010-2011 season include Oct. 9 and 30, Nov. 5 and 19, Dec. 26 and Jan. 16, 2011.
"Having these six dates already set gives us an opportunity to start being creative with some different ideas to make these games attractive to fans," Falcons President and General Manager Bruce Landon, said. It's never too early to start pushing your group sales efforts and now having six approved dates gives us a head start."
Opponents and starting times for these games will be announced when the complete 2010-2011 AHL schedule is released later this summer. In operation since 1936, the AHL will again serve as the top development league for all 30 National Hockey League teams when its 75th Anniversary Season gets underway on Oct. 8.
