Stack named player of the week |

WESTFIELD Westfield State University women's lacrosse player Maura Stack of Wilbraham was selected the New England Women's Lacrosse Alliance offensive player of the week.
Stack scored six goals with four assists in a 1-1 week for Westfield State. The junior attacker scored five goals and assisted on two others in a 17-15 victory over Morrisville State of New York. In an 11-10 loss to Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pa., Stack scored once and assisted on two scores in addition to collecting a ground ball and a caused turnover.
Calabrese homers, doubles in loss
KEENE, N.H. East Longmeadow's Frank Calabrese went 3-for-4 at the plate, including an eighth-inning two-run home run and double. However, four errors derailed the Springfield College baseball team, which plated four runs in the top of the ninth but was unable to complete its rally, losing 7-6 to Keene State.
Pereira finishes 19th at St. James Plantation Invitational
SOUTHPORT, N.C. Junior Nate Pereira of Ludlow tied for 19th with an eight-over par 152 as the American International College men's golf team opened the spring portion of its schedule by placing eighth of 16 teams at Indiana (Pa.) University's St. James Plantation Invitational with a two-day total of 623 (322-301).
Sophomore Tommy LeBlanc of Springfield tied for 77th with a 22-over par 166 (84-82).
Forrest triples in win
FORT MYERS, Fla. Freshman right fielder Brady Forrest of Hampden contributed an RBI triple in the Elms College men's baseball team's 18-6 win over Olivet College at the Gene Cusic Classic on March 16.
