Ultimate Frisbee - Longmeadow High School

The girls Ultimate Frisbee team at Longmeadow High School (LHS) recently competed in and took first place in the St. Johnsbury Tournament in Vermont. They headed to state competition at Fort Devens, Mass., on May 31.

This is a club at LHS which is completely run by the students, advisors and alumni of the sport. Dr. Albert Hsu (coach and former college player) from Baystate Medical Center is pictured with the girls.

The Boys A team at LHS also competed at St. Johnsbury in the A division. They graduated many seniors and have looked at this year as a rebuilding year. They have some outstanding upcoming underclassmen. They headed to states as well, and are ranked eighth in the state. Parents assist with chaperoning and driving committments.
