Tickets for 2012 MAAC Basketball Championships now on sale |

SPRINGFIELD The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men's and Women's Basketball Championships single-session went on sale Feb. 1. A total of 18 Men's and Women's games will make up the MAAC Basketball Championships at the MassMutual Center, March 1 to 5.
All-Session Passes are available for the championships. An All-Session Pass allows access to all 18 games, a one-day pass to the Basketball Hall of Fame and other perks. All-Session Pass prices are $110, $250 (club seats) and $400 (VIP).
"We are on the edge of the Championships tip-off. We are 28 days from the first game and I am excited to announce individual tickets for both the men's and women's games can now be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets," Global Spectrum's Matt Hollander, general manager of the MassMutual Center, said. "I am proud of the support we have received from our community leaders. It is our collective hope that we receive the same support and excitement from the rest of the community."
In addition to 18 basketball games, the following activities will be taking place during the MAAC Championships: - Fan Fest: A family-friendly activity zone, a place for fans to get away and enjoy some fun and games during the championships.
- Bounce to the Arena: Kids will start their Bounce to the Arena at the Basketball Hall of Fame and dribble their way to the MassMutual Center on March 4.
- College Fair: Open for high school students to come hear a speaker on the importance of attending college. Representatives from the 10 MAAC schools will be in attendance to share information about their campuses on March 2.
- Bus Brigade: Springfield school students will be bussed in to come and hear the importance of school and staying on track during high school on March 5.

The 2012 MAAC Men's and Women's Basketball Championships is a Division I College Basketball event. The crowned men and women's champions will receive an automatic bid into the NCAA Division I Basketball Championships. The MAAC consists of 10 schools located in the Metro New York, upstate New York, and Baltimore areas.
