Twelve Golden Bears named All-Conference |

SPRINGFIELD Twelve Western New England football players, including Springfield’s Nick Fox Edele, were selected to the 2011 New England Football Conference Boyd Division Team that was announced Nov. 10.
In addition, Keith Emery was named the Boyd Coach-of-the-Year for the second straight season after guiding the Golden Bears to a 9-1 record, which included a perfect 7-0 mark for first place in the division.
Four players gained First Team Boyd recognition, senior linebacker Todd Krolikowski, junior defensive end James Georges, junior return specialist Michael Graham, and junior free safety Phil Tsopanides.
Second Team honors went to Fox-Edele, the Golden Bears’ freshman placekicker, as well as senior quarterback Bryce Brown, senior defensive tackle Rob Kampson, senior offensive tackle Chris Mullins, senior guard Richard Poquette, junior defensive backs Corey Brown and Alex Miller, sophomore linebacker Brandon Orsmby.
