Wilbraham Fire Dept. to host open house The Wilbraham Fire Department will be sponsoring their annual open house on Oct. 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at both Fire Headquarters at 2770 Boston Rd. and Station 2, 8 Woodland Dell Rd. in the center of Wilbraham.
This year's Fire Prevention Theme is "Prevent Home Fires." Preventing the leading causes of home fires cooking, heating, electrical and smoking-materials is within our power. We need to teach both adults and children how to keep safe in our homes.
Various demonstrations and booths will be on display to hand out important fire and life safety information to our citizens.
Smokey the Bear will make his yearly appearance.
"Fireball" the clown will also make his appearance as well.
So, come on down and bring the family to either fire station, meet your firefighters, and have some fun!
