Best Memories from World's Largest Cruise Ship?

Laughs with Family and Friends! We are back from our annual January "Winter Blast" group cruise on the Oasis of the Seas- the largest cruise ship ever built.

The 7 day cruise began in Ft. Lauderdale and featured stops in St. Thomas, St. Maarten, and Nassau, but the ship itself was the destination. Check-in process was as quick and efficient as we had ever seen. With the incredible design of the Oasis featuring 7 different "neighborhoods", 24 restaurants, 37 bars, numerous stores (even a Coach Store, ladies), and so much more, we never felt crowded, even with 5,800 passengers onboard!

Our group was made up of 100 people as Royal Caribbean had limited our pre-purchase space to just 50 rooms. After that quickly sold out, the new price for the same room went up about $1,000 more per person. The rates never dropped back down, so we had a waitlist of sad people that didn't jump on the deal soon enough. There are so many things to see and do on the Oasis, such as a full Broadway play, ice rink, surfing flo-riders, zip line, Central Park with over 12,000 real trees and plants, aqua show, multiple pools, a bar that also serves as a 3 deck elevator, and so, so much more. With the fun and laughs we had with the Winter Blast gang, it really didn't matter that we never used some features of the ship. These people are friends or have become friends. One thing for sure is that Winter Blasters know how to have a good time. You can mingle or not, the beauty is that it's YOUR vacation. One night we took over the Rising Tide Bar (elevator bar) for hours. The bar rose by the Schooner Bar (piano bar) and they were playing "Sweet Caroline".you can imagine what happened next!

There is so much we could write about: our group catamaran tour; private cocktail party; the "Quest" game; St Maarten; Senor Frogs Nassau; and more. Check out our fan page on www.Facebook/CruiseStore for pictures of the Oasis.

We are taking reservations for the next Winter Blast cruise on January 15, 2011 onboard the Serenade of the Seas from San Juan to Barbados, St. Maarten, St. Kitts, and more. It's a great vacation, great for one's relationship, for making new friends, and so much fun. A deposit is all it takes. Warning: it is habit forming.
