Elder Council 69 Knights of Columbus invite girls and boys aged 10-14 to compete in our council’s 2014 Free Throw Competition, on Friday, January 17, 6:30 p.m.- 8:00 p.m., at St Anthony of Padua Social Center, 37 Celestine Street, Chicopee Massachusetts.

Youths will compete, according to their age (as of Jan. 1, 2014) and gender group. Competitors will each shoot three (3) practice shots, and then fifteen (15) free throws. Competitor in EACH group with most baskets made, advances to District Finals (TBA- held in February).

Younger competitors can shoot from a modified line, and some younger groups use the Youth size ball, per contest rules; all others use a regulation ball.

No advance Sign-up is required, however, participants will need Parental/Guardian Signature approval, and a copy of their birth certificate. Have your parent/guardian register you between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m. Competition begins, youngest groups first, at 7:00 p.m. sharp! (You may also secure a registration form, in advance, from the lounge at 460 Granby Road, K of C 69, if someone other than your parent/guardian is bringing you.) There is no charge to compete.
