This seminar is an opportunity for anyone touched by adoption (adoptees, birth parents, adoptive parents, families & significant others) to experience healing through identifying, validating and releasing deep wounds and challenges. To foster awareness, resolution and healing, participants will be guided in creative expression exercises like collage, role play and light spiritual practices. Build on day one’s exercises to deeper and more extensive experiences on day two through in-depth writing, group discussions and community building. Adoptees Craig and Christine will guide participants in exploring their experiences of separation trauma from blood relatives, as well as a transformative, healing process.

Begins at 11:00am on Saturday morning and concludes at 6:00pm on Sunday evening. Fee: $225. Sign up by Sept. 1st and receive early bird discount, pay only $175. Pre-registration is required.

Leaders: Craig Hyman and Guest Facilitator Christine Koubeck

Craig Hyman, is an adoptee in reunion for 25 years who honors a lifelong calling to service in the areas of adoption education, healing, reform and spiritual growth, as an Adoption Life Coach, Support Group Facilitator and more. He also leads a thriving career in the Entertainment Arts in Southern California, NYC, and internationally.

Christine Koubek is an adoptee in reunion, journalist, writing workshop leader, and the cofounder of the online community and publication: 'Secret Sons & Daughters—Adoptee Tales from the Sealed Records Era.' She has been reunited with her biological families for more than twenty years. Christine’s own birth mother was a resident at Genesis in the late 60’s when it was formerly Holy Child Guild, a home for unwed mothers. When she visited Genesis for the first time two years ago, and met Sister Elizabeth, one of the people responsible for turning Holy Child in to Genesis, the place became a great source of inspiration and healing for her.
