In celebration of the Feast of Corpus Christi, St. John the Evangelist Church in Agawam will host a procession with the Eucharist Sunday, June 22, immediately following the 10:30 a.m. Mass.

"The significance of processing in public with the Eucharist is twofold. First, it displays our public worship and reverence to Jesus Christ, who is fully Present in the Eucharist. Secondly, it is a form of evangelizing; there are so many people hungry for Christ in the public square, this is our attempt to bring Jesus to them, and invite them back to the Church," says Sal Circosta, Director of Religious Education and Youth Minister at St. John's.

The procession will begin at St. John's, 833 Main Street, Agawam around 11:30AM, and ends at Giovanni's Italian Pastries, 719 Main Street.
