BARTENDING TRAININGThe Center for Business and Technology (CBT) at Springfield Technical Community College has announced that they will soon offer a bartending course, taught by Ray Pellegrini, a bartender with the Marriott Hotel for over 25 years. Emphasis will be on the proper preparation and presentation of a wide variety of mixed drinks for the home or commercial establishment. Coverage of local, state and federal regulations affecting alcohol-serving establishments, supervisory and managerial responsibilities of the bartender, and mixology as a profession or avocation will also be included.
