Bellucci Salon moves to new location
Nov. 12, 2012
SPRINGFIELD – Bellucci Salon opened its doors at a new location, 673 White St., on Oct. 31. |
The salon moved from the location at Bicentennial Plaza on Allen Street where it has been for more than 25 years. The salon and day spa will no longer be in a plaza, but instead in a stand alone building, completely renovated with its own parking.
"We have always loved this building. It made sense and was in close proximity to our old location, while remaining in Springfield," Maria Serra, owner, said.
"It has sufficient parking for our growing business. Parking has always been a concern and this space had an extra lot that was perfect for just that, a parking lot. Everyone knows the number one rule is any business – location, location, location. The visibility, Route 83 is very well known and heavily traveled, also the close proximity to the highway makes it convenient for those clients who make the voyage to visit us," she continued.
Iris Arnold, salon manager, stated, "Our entire staff is extremely excited for the new place. Change is a good thing, especially in this industry. We hold our employees to a higher standard and I think this new building is great reflection of that and the value of authenticity we uphold."
Maureen Bellucci, former owner and currently a stylist, said, "Come in and see for yourself what all of the talk is about. You'll be delighted with the contemporary décor ... and state of the art equipment. The staff is friendly and welcoming. It is one of Springfield's long time establishments of over 30 years [now] in a new location that will make Springfield proud."
Bellucci Salon & Day Spa will continue to offer all the same great services with all of the same great staff, just a fancy new location.
The location is open Tuesday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
