Bluebird Estates celebrates grand opening

Last week Bluebird Estates celebrated its official grand opening with a weekend ceremony. The retirement community boasts 130 studio, one- and two-bedroom suites. Located on Apple Blossom Lane in East Longmeadow, the complex has activities and events every day, an innovative travel program, chef-prepared meals made from scratch, weekly housekeeping and linen service, convenient local transportation, two management teams living on-site and available around-the-clock and more.

"The turnout was absolutely wonderful," said Rental Manager Bill Marley. "Over 200 people came through the course of the day. Everyone was very impressed [with the complex]." State Rep. Angelo Puppolo participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony. There was also live entertainment and personal tours. Marley said anyone who was unable to make the event is still more than welcomed to contact Bluebird Estates and receive a personal tour and meal with them.

"We're just thankful to Angelo for taking time out of his day to be with us and the whole town of East Longmeadow and the surrounding community for coming and making it such a success," Marley added. For more information about Bluebird Estates, call 525-8600.
