FREE SHRED-IT DAYSPRINGFIELD For the second time this year, STCU Credit Union is offering an Identity Theft Protection program by hosting a free Shred-it day event at its Springfield location on Nov. 1.
"We are pleased to offer this community service to our neighbors. This is a great opportunity for individuals to have documents destroyed that may contain personal sensitive information insuring against identity theft," Gary Fishlock President and CEO, said. STCU Credit Union will have a mobile shredding truck on-site at the Springfield Office located on 145 Industry Ave. on Nov. 1, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
"The last time we offered this free service, we had a great turn-out,"Christopher Zarlengo, vice president of Marketing and New Business Development, said.
