FREE SHRED-IT DAY

SPRINGFIELD For the second time this year, STCU Credit Union is offering an Identity Theft Protection program by hosting a free Shred-it day event at its Springfield location on Nov. 1.

"We are pleased to offer this community service to our neighbors. This is a great opportunity for individuals to have documents destroyed that may contain personal sensitive information insuring against identity theft," Gary Fishlock President and CEO, said. STCU Credit Union will have a mobile shredding truck on-site at the Springfield Office located on 145 Industry Ave. on Nov. 1, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

"The last time we offered this free service, we had a great turn-out,"Christopher Zarlengo, vice president of Marketing and New Business Development, said.

Coffee and refreshments will be available for those waiting to have documents destroyed. For more information, visit the STCU Web site www.stcu.com.
