|HOLYOKE Are you bilingual? Holyoke Community College (HCC) now offers a certificate program to train interpreters and translators to meet the demand in medical, legal, social service and government settings, as well as international and private companies. Taught in English, this five-course program teaches protocols, techniques, ethics and standards for aspiring or practicing interpreters and translators. Students must be fluent in English and a second language. This program does not evaluate foreign language skills. |
