JGS caught in "Webb"

Virginia J. Webb of Holyoke had joined Jewish Geriatric Services, (JGS) Longmeadow, as director of Annual Giving and Special Events. Webb comes to JGS with a strong background in annual development and stewardship.

Most recently she was the annual fund manager for Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society. She is presently an adjunct professor at Western New England University (WNE) and was also as assistant to the vice president for Advancement at WNE, responsible for donor relations and stewardship. She was also an adjunct professor at Bay Path College in Longmeadow, teaching graduate students in the nonprofit management and philanthropy division.

She has also led major fund-raising and development efforts for the Catholic Diocese of Springfield, including the Catholic Schools, and the Newman Center at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
