On April 29, the Rotary Club of Springfield presented a check for $550 to Stone Soul of Springfield. The donation is to be used to purchase equipment to enable the group to present a living history of the Civil War. The Mission of Stone Soul is to increase the number of individuals with knowledge of the contribution made by African Americans during the Civil War by their attendance and participation.
