Samere joins United Bank as Human Resources Officer
WEST SPRINGFIELD -- Richard B. Collins, president and CEO of United Bank, recently announced that Kristyn Samere of Westfield has joined the bank as human resources officer. In her new role, she will be responsible for the daily management of the functions of the human resources department, with an emphasis on training and development.
Samere, an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management, joins United Bank from SS&C Technologies Inc., in Windsor, Conn., where she served in the human resources, benefits role. She has also held human resources positions with Xpedx (International Paper) and Wellington Steele & Associates, both in Rochester, N.Y.
A graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, N.Y., where she earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in human resources, she holds the designation of Certified Employee Benefits Specialist from the International Foundation and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
