Advanced Vein Care opens new office

SPRINGFIELD – Advanced Vein Care Center in Springfield is excited to announce the opening of their new office located at 3640 Main St., Suite 302. |
Leading the way is surgeon, K. Francis Lee, MD. Lee is one of the region's most qualified vein specialists, certified by the American Board of Surgery and American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. He is both a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) and a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI), which certify Lee as one of the few specialists in the area to be able to able to personally perform vascular ultrasounds and interpret the results during his treatments.
Lee has performed more than 2,000 endovenous laser treatments and many other ambulatory vein procedures. Excellent clinical outcomes are the focus of Lee and his staff. Other providers at the Advanced Vein Care Center include a fully certified Wound Care Nurse.

Look and Feel Better: that is the mission and philosophy put forth by Lee and his staff at the Advanced Vein Care Center. Lee treats common treatable vein conditions such as Varicose Veins, Spider Veins, and Venous Stasis Ulcers in addition to more serious venous insufficiencies.
Treatments include endovenous laser treatment, in which heat is applied inside the vein, causing it to close. Use of local anesthetic makes the treatment completely painless.
Lee is looking forward to continuing to grow his practice and treat new patients, their friends and families as well as recommendations from referring physicians.
Lee is an accomplished board-certified general surgeon who has dedicated his practice to the treatment of vein disease. He has been practicing in the greater Springfield area for 18 years.
A graduate of Stanford University, he received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed journal articles in addition to surgical textbooks and review chapters. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
