Local restaurants participating are located at 489 State St., Springfield, 400 Cooley St., Springfield, 755 Page Blvd., Springfield, 1395 Liberty St., Springfield, and 983 Riverdale St., West Springfield.
With each contribution, customers will receive a promotion card guaranteed to be a winner with prizes ranging from an all-inclusive trip from TNT Vacations Powered by Funjet Vacations, American Airlines miles, theme park tickets, Valvoline Instant Oil Change discounts and free services, to prizes from Burger King.
“We are proud to have the opportunity to raise funds that will help so many people through our partnership with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute,” Jim Froio, Burger King franchisee and president, New England Franchisee Association, said.
“Cancer touches every family and it means a great deal to the Burger King community to be able to work toward saving lives and furthering critical cancer research through this program,” he added.
In the last 14 years, participating Burger King restaurants have raised more than $11.4 million for cancer research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
“Burger King employees and their restaurant guests have been an invaluable partner in our fight cancer,” Suzanne Fountain, director of the Jimmy Fund, said. “The funds from this program are invaluable in funding cancer care and research at Dana-Farber.”
