Eight elected to Red Cross Pioneer Valley Chapter Board of Directors

SPRINGFIELD — Eight board members were elected to the American Red Cross Pioneer Valley Chapter Board of Directors at the chapter's annual meeting on May 19. The chapter's board members serve as volunteer leaders of the American Red Cross at the local level. "We are thrilled to welcome eight brand new members to our Red Cross Board this year. These are motivated and committed individuals and we very much look forward to the contributions they will make to the work we do throughout the Pioneer Valley," Rick Lee, executive director for the American Red Cross Pioneer Valley Chapter, said. The new members to the board are: Ayanna Crawford, CANS certified technician, Academic and Behavioral Clinic Inc.; David Kaye, financial advisor, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management; Jim Kelly, CEO, Polish National Credit Union; Bob Massey, president, Hampden Savings Foundation; Tim Nelson, fire chief, Amherst; Frank Robinson, director of Community Health Planning, Baystate; Mike Scuderi, vice president of Military and Government Affairs, Scuderi Group; and Michael Winn, fire chief, Greenfield. The chapter's board numbers 47 local volunteers representing individuals from Hampden, Hampshire and Franklin counties. A new slate of officers was also elected to the chapter's executive committee at the chapter's annual meeting. The officers elected to serve a one-year term are: Chapter Chair Maureen Hayes, Hayes Development; First Vice Chair Matt Hollander, MassMutual Center; Second Vice Chair Bob White, University of Massachusetts, retired; Secretary Angelina Ramirez, Stavros Center for Independent Living; Chair of Volunteers Marcia Conrad, Bay Path College, retired; and Chair of Finance Committee Rob Martin, Pratt & Whitney. The American Red Cross Pioneer Valley Chapter is thankful for these volunteers that have committed to serve the community through the work of the Red Cross. Bookmark and Share
