To help inform you on the practice, instructor Nitya is giving a free info session on May 18 from 4:40 - 5:30 p.m. at the Integrative Health Group, 1502 Allen St., Springfield. Nitya is a practicing instructor with a background in teaching vedantic philosophy for a healthier lifestyle. Hatha Yoga is the most ancient of all practices. The body is as young as it is flexible. Yoga exercises focus on the health of the spine, its strength and flexibility. By maintaining the spine's flexibility and strength through exercise, circulation is increased and the nerves are ensured their supply of nutrients and oxygen. Regardless of your skill level, you can only progress in each posture with constant practice. Nitya will be offering Introduction to Yoga, Intermediate, Open Level and Gentle Yoga courses and class at the clinic. Call Better Life to register at 783-9424 ext. 2.
