In conjunction with "The Great American Smokeout," Holyoke Medical Center (HMC) and the American Cancer Society will present a free "Community Conversation on Lung Cancer" on Nov. 18 at 6 p.m. in the facility's Auxiliary Conference Center.
Featured speaker will be Dr. Masharn Doanes, cardiothoracic surgeon of HMC Medical Specialties.
This HMC/ACS "I Can Cope" presentation will feature a discussion of the causes of lung cancer, diagnostic testing and current treatment options.
Seating is limited for this program and preregistration is required by calling 534-2789.
