Robert Charles Photography offers holiday sessions to raise funds for Baystate Children's Hospital

EAST LONGMEADOW Robert Charles Photography (RCP) has announced its annual fundraising campaign for Baystate Children's Hospital. Each year, the acclaimed studio donates a portion of all sessions purchased in the month of December to the Baystate Children's Hospital. To date, the studio has raised over $25,000.

"Give the Gift of Family" means two things to Robert Charles Photography: giving a loved one the opportunity to celebrate his or her family with a portrait session as well as supporting the efforts of Baystate Children's Hospital in keeping local families happy and healthy in the coming year.

This year, each session purchased comes with an 8x10 matted signature portrait. These holiday collections retail for $310, but are available in the month of December at a discounted rate of $149. For every session sold, $50 will be donated to Baystate Children's Hospital in the donating family's name. These sessions can be purchased in 2009, but do not have to take place until the following year.

Each special Holiday Collection includes a private clothing consultation, photographic session and signed portrait. Subjects will select the image they would like for their signature portrait during a private appointment in one of RCP's state of the art multimedia viewing rooms.

Edward Zemba, President of RCP, said the company's extensive work with children is what led to an interest in ways they could support the future members of this community. "As a family photography studio, we have had the privilege of working with many families who have benefited from this wonderful organization over the years," said Zemba, "and as a parent it's always comforting to know that they are just around the corner if we ever need them."

Established in 1986, RCP is a family-owned business that represents a second generation of award-winning portrait artistry.
