Support group forming for the recently bereaved

LONGMEADOW A support group is forming for those who have recently lost a loved one. This bereavement group will meet on Wednesday evenings for eight consecutive weeks at no charge; it is sponsored by Spectrum Home Health and Hospice Care, a program of Jewish Geriatric Services.

Jodi DiTusa, LICSW, Spectrum Hospice Social Worker, will facilitate the group. For more information, or to register, please contact Jodi DiTusa at 565-2500 by April 21. A brief telephone conversation is required.

Spectrum Home Health and Hospice Care is a program of Jewish Geriatric Services (JGS). Jewish Geriatric Services is a healthcare system serving elders and their families. JGS programs also include Wernick Adult Day Health Care Center, Julian J. Leavitt Family Jewish Nursing Home, Ruth's House An Assisted Living Residence, JGS Family Medical Care and Genesis House housing for independent seniors.
