All proceeds to benefit the Cancer House of Hope Westfield & Springfield, MA A fun day of cycling for the whole family Choose from 3 rides: 10, 25 or 50 miles Heidi's Chain of Hope started 7 years ago when a group of friends, who loved cycling and helping others, decided to organize a ride for the Cancer House of Hope. The ride was originally called Chain of Hope, but when their friend and organizer, Heidi Hannon, died of breast cancer shortly after the 2nd ride they decided to name the ride after Heidi. Heidi's Chain of Hope is now in its 8th year. It's a small ride with a lot of heart. Every year organizers, volunteers and riders come out to participate. It grows bigger every year so register early if you plan on participating!
To participate each rider must raise a minimum pledge amount in addition to the registration fee. Riders 16 and younger must raise a min. of $100 and pay $10 registration. Riders 17 and older must raise a minimum of $200 and $25 for registration. The first 75 riders receive a ride t-shirt. All 3 rides are fully supported along the routes with rest stops which supply food and beverages. Sag support and bike mechanics are on on hand throughout the rides.
Post Ride Celebration... Cook-out, massages, music and more!
Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 fundraisers.
