EAST LONGMEADOW It is time for the 2006 East Longmeadow Fourth of July Parade. As always, the parade promises to be a day of fun. Colorful floats, great music, and don't forget to expect appearances by 2006 Grand Marshal Merle Safford, Miss East Longmeadow Gina Rosati, Ms. Senior Mass, VFW POST 3236, and many, many more.
Below The Reminder has included a list of guest appearances and float information. So gather up your friends and family, hit the parade route, and keeping in line with this year's theme, "Let Freedom Ring."

The East Longmeadow 4th of July Parade will step off a 10 a.m. on the morning of July 4th, rain or shine.

Again, the 2006 East Longmeadow Fourth of July Parade steps off at 10 a.m.
The parade route is the same as it has been for years. Down Hanward Hill Ave. to Elm. Then down Elm to Mapleshade, then down Mapleshade to North Main, continuing down North Main to the center of town. Then right on Maple to the High School.
The parade goes on rain or shine.
