First 2010-11PAC meeting on Oct. 5 |

SPRINGFIELD The Springfield PAC will host its first meeting of the 2010/2011 school year on Oct. 5 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. PAC meetings take place at the Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St.; all meetings are open to the public and free of charge.
The first meeting will welcome families back and begin the process of planning for the upcoming school year.
Families who have questions about their children and special education should attend PAC meetings. Parents need to learn how to effectively advocate for their children, knowing the law, the types of disabilities and services available, help to make parents true partners in their child's educational planning.
