Garden Club scholarships available |

The Springfield Garden Club invites applications for two $2,000 scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students majoring in plant sciences or environmental studies programs such as horticulture, floriculture, landscape design, conservation, forestry, botany, agronomy, plant pathology, environmental control, land management or other allied fields.
Applicants must be residents of Hampden County. Previous applicants and recipients may reapply. The deadline for all applications is March 31. This year's recipients will be announced by April 30 and will be invited to attend the club's May 14 Annual Meeting.
Application and Financial Aid forms can be obtained at the club's Web site at www.gardencentral.org/gcfm/springfield by clicking the Scholarship Information and Application link at the bottom of the page or by calling Judith Cmero at 599-0462.
Completed applications, financial aid forms and other required documents for the Springfield Garden Club Scholarship should be mailed to Judith Cmero, Springfield Garden Club Scholarship Chair, 452 Springfield St., Wilbraham, MA 01095 by March 31.
