Holy Name School announces new scholarship fund

CHICOPEE Holy Name School is excited to announce the establishment of a scholarship fund for new enrollees and for existing students during the fiscal 2011 school year. "The purpose of these scholarships is to attract and retain students who otherwise would not be able to afford Holy Name School," Principal Patricia Kern said. "In this struggling economy, we know families are having a tough time. We also know families want to provide for a solid education for their children. So, we have decided to try and help existing students to stay at Holy Name School as well encourage new families to experience the wonderful offerings of our school community. Holy Name School is most grateful to the generous donor who has made this scholarship money available." An open house has been scheduled for May 23 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Come meet the dedicated staff, parents and students. Guided tours of the school and refreshments will be available. Registrations for pre-school, kindergarten and new students are now being accepted for the 2010-11 school year. For more information, please call 592-6857.
