Pajama project

Pajama project pajama-project.jpg
The Pajama Project was started by Rev. James P. Brennan of St. Francis Chapel after he was inspired by the tale of a third grade student who could not participate in “Pajama Day.” Last year, the Pajama Project collected 650 sets of pajamas for local homeless children and families. This year, collections will take place on Dec. 20 and 27, and Jan. 4, 2012, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the City Walk Café at Tower Square and at The Cruise Store in East Longmeadow, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pictured are The Pajama Project 2010 volunteers (from left to right): Anthony Cignoli, president of A.L. Cignoli; Father Brennan, co-director at St. Francis Chapel; Don Anderson, owner of The Cruise Store; Aida Claudio, volunteer at St. Francis Chapel; and Mary Fallon, media director at Garvey Communication Associates Inc.
