SPRINGFIELD The Springfield Garden Club is pleased to announce the availability of two $2,000 scholarships to students who plan to major in environmental studies such as horticulture, floriculture, landscape design, conservation, forestry, botany, agronomy, plant pathology, environmental control, land management or allied subject areas.
Applications are available on the garden club's Web site at http://gardencentral.org/gcfm/springfield
. Applicants must be residents of Hampden County. Former applicants and recipients may reapply.
Notification of awards will be sent directly to the business office of the recipient's high school or college. The deadline for all applications is March 31.
