Springfield Museums offer fall classes and trips

SPRINGFIELD -- Registration for fall Museum School courses for children and adults and travel opportunities for adults at the Springfield Museums is underway. Classes for Young People
  • Mornings at the Museum with Mom or Dad. Program for ages two to four; on Fridays from 10 to 11 a.m., from Oct. 8 to Nov. 5.
  • Drawing & Painting FUN-damentals. Program for ages seven to nine from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 16, 23 and 30.
  • Go Ahead, Play with Your Food. Program for ages eight to 11 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Oct. 16.
  • Astronomy for Kids What's in a Wave? Program for ages 10 to 14 on Mondays from 3:45 to 5:15 p.m., Oct. 4 to Nov. 8.
  • Drawing Your Ideas for Fun and Maybe a Career. Program for ages 12 to 15 on Mondays from 3 to 5:15 p.m., from Oct. 4 to Nov. 15.
