TJO to showcase Neil Diamond tribute band at fundraiser

SPRINGFIELD As cutbacks have drastically hurt the Thomas J. O'Connor Adoption Center (TJO) regarding the laying off of staff, the cut back hours of vets and supplies for the animals, every fundraiser is so very important to raise money to help maintain the excellent care of all the animals at TJO.

DIAMOND, playing the music of Neil Diamond, will be featured in a concert to benefit TJO. Neil Diamond's music has never failed to delight and surprise his fans. He is, without a doubt, one of the most loved and respected performers and songwriters of his generation. Now, encounter the music of Neil Diamond again with tribute artist Charlie Lask. Hear Lask capture the heart and soul of some of the greatest songs ever written. Fans of Neil Diamond will delight at the joy and emotion he brings to their favorite tunes. See him perform once, you won't be disappointed.

Join us on June 27! Cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m. Dinner is at 7 p.m. Tickets are $30 each and are available at the Thomas J. O'Connor Adoption Center on Cottage Street in Springfield or online at www.tjoconnoradoptioncenter.com.

The concert will take plact at the Villa Rosa Restaurant, located at 1428 Center St. in Ludlow.

Proceeds from the event will support the care of the many animals of the Thomas J. O'Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center. Donations may be made to the Thomas J. O'Connor Foundation, a 501c3 tax-exempt charitable giving organization.
