| Bring your golden ticket and a friend or two to What's Cooking, Kids? at 9 a.m. on Nov. 29 for a morning of delicious Wonka themed food and a showing of the original Willy Wonka movie.|
During the three hour event, chefs will create recipes taken from the movie including Nishnobblers, Fizzy Lifting Drink and Lickable Wallpaper to be enjoyed during the movie.
The event, taking place the Saturday after Thanksgiving, is designed to give parents a chance to start some holiday shopping or to rest after Thanksgiving.
Like all What's Cooking, Kids? events, the Willy Wonka movie morning is centered around teaching children proper cooking techniques mixed in with lots of fun.
What's Cooking, Kids? is a culinary experience for young chefs located on Maple Street in East Longmeadow. The culinary school hosts nearly 70 students during any given session and offers special events, birthday parties and adult classes.
