AGAWAM
LIBRARY TEEN POETRY CONTEST
The Agawam Public Library will host a Teen Poetry Slam April 14 from 7 to 8 p.m. Teens in grades 7 to 12 invited to read original poem or a favorite. Prizes, including $50 gift certificate to Barnes & Noble for First Place Original Reading. Entry forms available at Public Library and Junior, Senior High School libraries. CULTURAL COUNCIL MEETING
The Agawam Cultural Council will meet April 12 at 7 p.m. at the Agawam Public Library, 750 Cooper St. The meeting is open individuals with an interest in providing diverse cultural events for the town. All-volunteer organization, appointed by the mayor and funded, in part, by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, is looking for new members.

A ROYAL WEDDING TEA
Seventh annual tea, "A Royal Wedding Tea," will take place April 30 at 1 p.m. at the Agawam Congregational Church, 745 Main St. White gloved waiters will serve tea sandwiches, desserts and tea. Entertainment, door prizes, raffle baskets and royal jewelry sale, all in Bryan Hall. Tickets available mornings in the church office. Adults: $12; girls 12 and younger are $5.

CHICOPEE
CHICOPEE SENIOR CENTER CLOSING
The Chicopee Senior Center will be closed on April 18 in observance of Patriot's Day. The center will close at 12:30 p.m. on April 22.

SPA SERVICES
Manicure and facial hair removal services available by appointment starting at 8:30 a.m. on April 20 in the Chicopee Senior Center, 7 Valley View Court. Carol Marnelakis, licensed esthetician and manicurist, provides these services. Prices for those 60 and older: $10 for a manicure. Hair removal costs: eyebrows $6; lip $3. CAREGIVERS SUPPORT GROUP
On April 20, Gerri Bennett, R.N. will provide information on Alzheimer's and support to help provide the best care for your loved one. The meeting will take place at the Chicopee Council on Aging, 7 Valley View Court, at 3:30 p.m. There is no cost for this meeting. For info or to register, call 534-3698.

CHAIR MASSAGE
Gina Welch of CranioSacral and Massage Center Inc. provides chair massages in the Senior Center, 7 Valley View Court, available on the first Thursday, second Tuesday and third Friday of the month. The Friends of Granby Elderly is hosting a trip to Tanglewood on Aug. 2.
