AGAWAM LIBRARY TEEN POETRY CONTEST The Agawam Public Library will host a Teen Poetry Slam April 14 from 7 to 8 p.m. Teens in grades 7 to 12 invited to read original poem or a favorite. CULTURAL COUNCIL MEETING The Agawam Cultural Council will meet April 12 at 7 p.m. at the Agawam Public Library, 750 Cooper St. The meeting is open individuals with an interest in providing diverse cultural events for the town. All-volunteer organization, appointed by the mayor and funded, in part, by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, is looking for new members.
