AGAWAM CATHOLIC WOMEN'S CLUB St. John's Catholic Women's Club of Agawam's April meeting will be a Mystery Ride. If you don't drive at night, we will have plenty of cars with drivers to take you. CHICOPEE MASSAGE AT THE COA Chair massage by Gina Welch of Craniosacral and Massage Center Inc. starting at 9:40 a.m. on April 16 at the Chicopee COA, 7 Valley View Ct. Each session is 15 mins. DIABETES SUPPORT GROUP The next meeting will be on April 12 at 1:30 p.m. at the Chicopee Senior Center, 7 Valley View Ct. Diane Weston, R.N. will provide info on ways to manage your diabetes, help you with your diet plan, provide instruction on the use of a glucometer, info on research and new developments and answer questions. MANICURE/HAIR REMOVAL SERVICES Starting April 14, Carol Marnelakis, licensed esthetician and manicurist, will offer manicure and hair removal services by appt. starting at 8:30 a.m. for those 60 and older at the Council on Aging. "NAME THAT BID" AUCTION Holy Name School will be hosting "Name That Bid!," their first ever live and silent auction on April 10 at 6 p.m. at the K of C #69 on Granby Road. WARD 4 NEIGHBOORHOOD MEETING City Council President/Ward 4 City Councilor William Zaskey will host a neighborhood meeting April 13 at 6 p.m. in the Community Room of the Chicopee Public Library. Mayor Michael Bissonnette and dept. heads will present an overview of Ward 4 and city projects incvluding Front Street reconstruction, Chicopee Falls Combined Sewer Project the renovations at the old Chicopee High School, the Uniroyal/Facemate project the Safety Complex renovations, the senior center and the downtown revitalization project. HOLYOKE LITTLE TOM RESERVATION Be a part of the David Sigelman Memorial Workdays on the Little Tom Reservation, Mountain Park Access Road, on April 25 and May 15 (rain date May 22) from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Help staff and volunteers continue to develop and improve the visitor trail in preparation for the opening of Little Tom in 2012. SENIOR CENTER FUNDRAISER The Log Cabin in Holyoke will celebrate its business heritage on April 8 with a reunion of guests and staff from the original Log Cabin. WOMEN'S CLUB MEMBERSHIP TEA The S.H. SOUTHWICK BENEFIT GOLF TOURNAMENT The 17th annual American Red Cross Pioneer Valley Chapter Golf Tournament will take place June 24 at The Ranch Golf Club. WEST SPRINGFIELD A DAY IN NEW YORK CITY The W.S. Park & Rec. Dept. is sponsoring a bus trip to New York City on April 24. Bus leaves municipal parking lot at 7:30 a.m. and returns home approx. 9:30 p.m. Drop offs and pick up site in New York to be determined by bus driver. Once in NYC, you will be on your own. Bus will leave NYC at 5:30 p.m. with a short dinner stop on the way home (dinner not included in price). Cost is $45 (a tip donation for the bus driver will be collected on the way home).
