Crafters and Artisans Wanted
The Agawam Congregational Church, 745 Main St., will be hosting its third annual Fall Festival on Oct. 17. This is a juried arts and craft fair open to anyone offering one-of-a-kind handmade crafts. BOTTLE & CAN DRIVE
Friends of the Agawam Senior Center will be having a deposit bottle and can drive on July 11 from 9 -11:30 a.m. If you do not want to wait, bring your cans and bottles to the rec. room at the senior center. We ask if it is possible for you to rinse out your cans and bottles before you turn them in; it would be of great assistance to us. We are also accepting tabs from the cans.
BLUE SOX BASEBALL TRIP

Keeping track of your cholesterol is important and to help you do this, on July 8 from 9 a.m. - noon, there will be a cholesterol screening done at the Chicopee Senior Center, 7 Valley View Ct. The screening does not require fasting and will provide total cholesterol results. Individuals are taken on a first come basis and a donation of $5 is appreciated. To register, call 534-3698.
SUMMER FOOD PROGRAM
The Chicopee Parks & Rec. Dept. will participate in the USDA Summer Food Program for children at the Fairview Park, Britton Street. Lunches will be provided June 29 - Aug. 14. No meals served on July 4. Meal times are 11:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. for lunch and 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. for snacks. Free meals are provided to attending children 18 and under without regard to race, color or national origin, sex, religion or handicap.
BENNINGTON, VERMONT TRIP
Join the Aldenville Seniors of St. Rose de Lima on Oct. 8 as they travel to Bennington, Vt., for their foliage trip. First stop will be to Camelot Village Country Craft Center followed by lunch at the Bennington Station Restaurant where you will have two dinner choices. The West Springfield Park & Rec. Dept. is sponsoring a bus trip to Ogunquit, Maine, on July 25. Bus leaves M.O.B., 26 Central St., at 7 a.m., returning home approx. 9 p.m. Bus drops off short walk to the beach and Marginal Way.
