CHARITY FASHION SHOW
Cooper's Gift and Curtain Shop, 161 Main St., will host a Vera Bradley fashion show on March 24 at 6:30 p.m., featuring clothing by Kohl's modeled by Friends of Ronald McDonald House. Raffle ticket sale will support Ronald McDonald House and Kohl's will make a donation. Like-new interview-worthy clothing accepted for Dress for Success during the event. Free raffles for trollbeads and Vera Bradley pieces during the event.

LIONESS CLUB CASINO TRIP
The Agawam Lioness Club is sponsoring a trip to Mohegan Sun May 15. Trip departs Agawam High parking lot at 1 p.m.; returns by 8:30 p.m. Cost of is $25' includes driver's tip. "Runway for Education" fashion show hosted by the GFWC Agawam Junior Women's Club April 10 at Chez Josef featuring fashions from Christopher & Banks of Holyoke. HEALTHY EATING 101
Chicopee Council on Aging (COA), 7 Valley View Court is offering hands-on workshop Eating Healthy 101 April 7 at 1 p.m. This workshop offers ways to learn to be creative with a gluten free cooking. There are many foods that one can eat and enjoy while following a gluten-free diet. Class limited to 18 people. Donation: $4, tickets available at the COA office. For more info call 534-3698.

DIGITAL IMAGING CLASSES
Digital Imaging classes will be taught for four weeks starting April 5 at 11 a.m. in the Chicopee Senior Center, 7 Valley View Court. Jim Spaulding will teach participants how to scan and correct a digital photo, create an image with shapes and layers, work with clip art, memory and place a digital image in a document. Cost is $20 for the four weeks and must be paid one week in advance. Space is limited. Call the senior center at 534-3698 for more info.

TRAVEL CLUB MEETING
The Chicopee Senior Travel Club will meet at 9:30 a.m. on March 29 in the main room of the Chicopee Senior Center, 7 Valley View Court. A deposit of $5 is required to hold a place for any trip. Seats are assigned when payment in full is received. For more info, call the center at 534-3698.

WRITING GROUP
An informal group of those interested in writing gathers at 1 p.m. on the first and third Fridays of each month in the Chicopee Senior Center, 7 Valley View Court. "MAKING OF A MEDIUM"
The Theosophical Society will present a lecture titled, "The Making of a Medium," by noted medium Elaine Kuzmeskus at the Bellamy House, 93 Church St., Chicopee, on March 27 at 2 p.m. There will be a book signing. Refreshments served.

On March 28 at 6 p.m., Cheryl Harned, curator of the Skinner Museum at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, will speak about the eclectic collections amassed by Joseph Allen Skinner, second son of William and Sarah Skinner. Visitors are invited to reflect on Skinner's sense of self, his sense of his place in time and his relationship to the items in the collection. Suggested donation for this event is $5.

Badges for Baseball, an instructional baseball league for inner-city youth, boys and girls, ages 8 through 13, is welcoming participants for the 2011 season. There is no fee for participation and uniforms and equipment are provided without cost. BEAR HOLE HIKE
A Naturalists Club event April 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., led by Diane Crowell. To register call Diane at 734-8188. Group meets at the parking lot in front of Stop & Shop on Riverdale Road. Bear Hole is a 1700-acre watershed in West Springfield. The hiking will be mostly flat but expect bushwhacking on uneven terrain. Bring poles or hiking sticks, a lunch, something to drink and snacks if desired.

WSHS PRESENTS "CHICAGO"
The West Springfield High School will present the musical 'Chicago" March 24, 25 and 26 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. General admission is $7; $5 for seniors and students with an ID. Tickets available at the door. This production has a total of 22 cast members, all students at West Springfield High School, from all different backgrounds. All students are extremely talented and dedicated to this amazing musical, winner of the 2007 Tony Award for best play revival.

The Westfield Homeless Cat Project is hosting a fund-raiser March 25 from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. at East Mountain Country Club, 1458 East Mountain Road, to help cover food, vet bills and other expenses.
