AGAWAM
MYSTERY DINNER THEATER
Agawam High School Band will present a mystery dinner theater fundraiser, "Murder at the Tonylou Awards," on May 30 at 6:30 p.m. at St. John's Church Hall on Main Street. NYC BALLET TRIP
The Senior Center is hosting a trip to see the New York City Ballet in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., on July 16. Bus will leave the center at 8:30 a.m. and return at 6:30 p.m. Cost includes bus, driver's tip, lunch and matinee orchestra ticket. For more info, call Joan Linnehan at 821-0604.

CRAFTERS AND ARTISTS WANTED
The Agawam Congregational Church, 745 Main St., will be hosting its third annual Fall Festival on Oct. 17 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. This is a juried arts and crafts fair and is open to anyone. GO GREEN MEETING
The Go Green Agawam Committee will meet May 20 at 7 p.m. at the Agawam Public Library. The new State Green Communities Act will be discussed. All are welcome.

HISTORICAL OPEN HOUSE
The Agawam Historical Assoc. will host an open house at the Historical and Firehouse Museum, 35 Elm St., from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on May 25. Call Judy at 786-6315 if available to bake for this event. Members are also needed to help. A Revolutionary War through World War II Encampment will also take place on site.

CHICOPEE
BOTTLE AND CAN DRIVE
Boy Scout Troop 131 will be having a bottle and can drive on May 30 from 8 a.m. - noon in the St. Stanislaus School parking lot, 534 Front St. This fundraiser is to help raise money for troop activities. Bring your returnable bottles and cans to the rear of the school. To schedule a pickup of your bottle and cans, call Cindy Conkln at 594-3142.

CHICOPEE SENIOR TRAVEL CLUB

ZITI DINNER
The Chicopee Public Schools, Food Service Dept., Maintenance Dept. and Peace Jam are sponsoring a ziti dinner to help support Lorrraine's Soup Kitchen on May 20 from 5:30 - 8 p.m. at the Chicopee Moose Family Center, 244 Fuller Rd. Adults, $6; children 12 and under, $4; two and under, free. Dinner includes baked ziti, garden salad, beverages and strawberry shortcake. Tickets are available at all Chicopee Public Schools in the cafeteria, in the Food Service and Maintenance Dept. at 650 Front St. (old CHS) and at the door on the day of the event.

BENEFIT CAR WASH
Laura Tefft and her daughter Samantha are coordinating a car wash to raise money for Shriner's Hospital. The car wash will take place at Brad's Service Center, 760 Front St., on May 23 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. There is no set price for car washes, and all donations will go directly to the Shriners.

TAG/BAKE SALE
The third annual tag and bake sale to benefit Lorraine's Soup Kitchen will take place May 24 at the Moose Family Center on Fuller Road. Baked goods will come from donors and Panera Bread and Bernardino's Bakery. No reasonable offer will be refused for tag sale items.

HOLYOKE
ELKS SPAGHETTI SUPPER
On the last Thursday of every month the Holyoke Lodge of Elks #902 hosts a spaghetti supper. It will be served on May 28 from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Lodge Home on Whitney Avenue. Menu: tossed salad w/dressing, spaghetti smothered with Elks special meat sauce, parmesan cheese, plain and garlic rolls, lemonade, coffee or tea. Price is $5 for adults, $2 for kids 6 - 12, and free for those 5 and under.

"COMEDY FOR CATHOLICS"

MELHA MILITARY BAND
Stanley Park's Concert Series will feature the Melha Military Band on May 31 in the Beveridge Pavilion from 6 - 8 p.m. The Melha Military Band performs a variety of selections from Dixieland to swing including semi-classical and audience participation numbers. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The Westfield River Watershed Assoc. needs volunteers to help with storm drain marking in the city of Westfield on May 30. Markings are used as reminders not to use catch basins for waste disposal. DESSERT THEATER
St. John's Lutheran Church, 60 Broad St., will be hosting a dessert theater on May 30 at 7 p.m. "A Piece of the Pie" is an original murder mystery that has been written and will be performed by the Repertory Company. "FROM THE STATE HOUSE"
