HOLLY WREATH BAZAAR

AARP DRIVER SAFETY COURSE
AARP will conduct a Driver Safety Course on Nov. 16 at the Agawam Senior Center. Registration is from 8:30 - 9 a.m. Course runs from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., with a lunch break at 11:30 a.m. Registration fee is $14 for non-AARP members and $12 for members. SIT & KNIT
On Dec. 1 from 1 - 3 p.m. the Agawam Public Library will host Drop-in Sit & Knit with instructor Sandy Ellis. On the first Tues. of the month, Ellis will be on hand to give instructions and answer questions. Sit & Knit meets weekly on Tues. afternoons from 1 - 3 p.m. No registration is needed for this program.
"THE BROKEN GLASS"
On Dec. 2 at 7 p.m., the Agawam Public Library will host a meet and greet with Emily Arsenault, author of "The Broken Glass." The Shelburne Falls author will visit the library to read from and discuss her debut novel. Call 789-1550 to register for this program.
St. John's Church of Agawam will be hosting its annual Christmas Bazaar on Nov. 21 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the Parish Center. There will be something for everyone; Christmas decorations, vintage jewelry, homemade candy and cakes, books, attic treasures and much more.
HOLLY BERRY FAIR
The Ladies Benevolent Society of the First Congregational Church of 306 Chicopee St. will host their "Holly Berry Fair" on Nov. 21 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Included will be the "Snack Counter."
Keeping trap of your cholesterol is important and to help you do this, on Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. - noon, there will be a cholesterol screening done at the Chicopee Senior Center, 7 Valley View Ct. The screening does not require fasting and will provide total cholesterol results. Individuals are taken on a first-come basis and a donation of $5 is appreciated. To register, call 534-3698.
ALZHEIMER'S CARGIVERS SUPPORT GROUP
Providing care for a loved one with Alzheimer's is a 24-hour job. Taking time for you is important. Attending a support group can be rewarding, informational and beneficial in reducing stress. On Nov. 18, Gerri Bennett, R.N. will provide info on Alzheimer's and support to help provide the best care for your loved one. LECTURE ON POLISH ART
Father Charles Jan Di Mascola, Pastor of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in Turners Falls, will be the guest speaker at the monthly meeting of the Society of Polish American Culture on Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the Chicopee Lodge of Elks, 431 Granby Rd. Public is invited. Refreshments will be served. Christmas party tickets for the Dec. 7 event will also be sold at the meeting. TOBACCO VALLEY ARTISTS
The monthly meeting of the Tobacco Valley Artists Assoc. will be Nov. 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the Chicopee Library, 449 Front St. This Fall Member Show will feature artwork in various media judged by nationally known Holyoke artist Paul Leveille and will include a short meeting, reception and presentation of awards. Leveille will critique paintings brought in by members that evening. The exhibit will be on display for the month of November during library hours. The public is welcome to attend.
VIRTUAL BOWLING COMPETITION
Experience virtual bowling competition with the Chicopee Council on Aging at 1 p.m. at the Chicopee Council on Aging, 7 Valley View Ct. It is a Wii Bowling League. Wii Bowling provides the opportunity for older adults to participate in activity that they once enjoyed, despite their current physical ability. Players use a remote control device to mimic actions performed in real-life sports. Call 534-3698 to register.

USED BOOK SALE & SILENT RAFFLE
On Nov. 14 and Nov. 15 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at NAMI, 324A Springfield St., Agawam, browse through a collection of used hard-cover and paperback fiction, non-fiction and self-help books, check out our Silent Raffle, which has 20 prizes to be won. A HOLIDAY TRADITION
On Nov. 13, there will be a trip to see the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular in NYC at the Radio City Music Hall. WISTARIAHURST WINE TASTNG
On Nov. 13 from 7 - 9 p.m. Wistariahurst will be hosting a wine tasting in the Skinner Mansion. The event is sponsored by Liquors44 and will feature wines from Baystate Wine Company, Commonwealth Wines, Martignetti Company and more. Music for the evening will be provided by Classical Guitarist Eli Torres. Light refreshments will be served. All proceeds benefit Wistariahurst Museum. FALL FUNDRAISER: AUCTION & MORE
Foster Memorial Church is hosting a "Fall Fundraiser: Auction and Much More" on Nov. 14 from noon - 4 p.m. A luncheon will be served; crafts, baked goods and plants will be sold; and auction items will be available for preview. Holy Cross Church, Plumtree Road, hosts a Youth Mass with contemporary music and youth readers every sunday evening at 6 p.m. Though geared to a younger audience, all are welcome.
St. Catherine of Siena, 1023 Parker St., will host a blood drive on Nov. 23 starting at 1:30 p.m. All those who donate a pint will receive discount vouchers for a Falcons hockey game.

BREAKFAST WITH SANTA
The YMCA of Greater Westfield will welcome Santa and Mrs. Claus on Nov. 28 at 9 a.m. to have a pancakes and sausage breakfast and visit all children who want to come by. Breakfast will be free for children under 5. Those ages 5 - 12 are $5 and anyone over the age of 12 will be $7. Registration is now underway for the 47th annual Ski Scramblers program with the YMCA of Greater Westfield on Sat. from Jan. 9 - Feb. 6 at Blandford Ski Area. Four-lesson packages are available for the beginner through the controlled skier or snowboarder. Packages range in price and include transportation, lift tickets, lessons and adult supervision.
