"COSMO THE EARLY YEARS"
The Agawam Public Library for the month of December will be exhibiting the artwork of Zackary Alexander Cosmo Loos. The exhibit, "COSMO The Early Years," is about honoring a mother's son by interpreting his early artwork into fiber and beads. Viewing hours for this special exhibit are during regular library hours.
CULTURAL COUNCIL MEETING
The Agawam Cultural Council is meeting Dec. 14 at 7 p.m. at the Agawam Public Library, 750 Cooper St. The meeting is open to the public. If you have an interest in providing diverse cultural events for the town, a great opportunity exists with the Council. This all-volunteer organization, appointed by the mayor and funded, in part, by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, is looking for new members.
GENEALOGY SOCIETY MEETING
Western Mass. Genealogy Society will host its monthly meeting Dec. 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Agawam Senior Center, 954 Main St. The society also conducts a Genealogy Computer Class on the third and fourth Thursdays of the month.
