HOLIDAY BAZAAR
Community Grange #382 of Feeding Hills will hold a holiday bazaar on Dec. 8 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Grange Hall located at 47 North West St. Members of the Grange have been busy making gift items, ornaments, wreaths and many more items. The bake sale will be bigger and better. There will be a children's table with a make and take craft. All proceeds will benefit the building fund and the public is invited to attend.

MIA BELLA CANDLES
Friends of the Agawam Senior Center are selling Mia Bella candles just in time for the holiday season. These candles are made from natural vegetable waxes. Mia Bella has over 100 scent-sational fragrances to choose from. If you don't want to have a candle with a flame, Mia Bella offers a scent-simmer pot with no flame which will be safe around children and pets. HOLIDAY CONCERT
Richie and Kathy Mitnick and the Rhapsody Singers, in conjunction with the Agawam Rotary Club, will present their annual holiday concert on Dec. 10 at Agawam High School, starting at 7 p.m. The family-oriented show will also highlight selected students from the Agawam schools. Tickets, available at the door, will again be $3 plus at least two canned goods for the Parish Cupboard, or $5.99 without the canned goods. In addition to Richie and Kathy Mitnick on the keyboard and organ, Jessie Rivers, Brad Shepard, John Moriarty, Frank Newton, Ethel Lee, Dave Colucci, Sally Jo Stevens and MC Rollie Jacobs will provide their vocal talents.

"CHEFS FOR JIMMY"
Tickets to "Chefs for Jimmy" presented by Kittredge Equipment Company and Winer Levsky Group to benefit the Jimmy Fund are available now. Those attending will feel like stars as they feast in a Broadway atmosphere on a wide variety of dishes prepared by 30 participating restaurants. It all takes place at Chez Josef on Jan. 25. SEMINAR ON DIVORCE FINANCES
On Dec. 4 at 6:30 p.m. at the Agawam Public Library, Freda Brown, a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA), will talk about the issues that can affect a divorcing couple's financial future. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session. The meeting is free. Brown is offering the program to help people improve their odds for a fair and equitable divorce settlement.

ROTARY CLUB INFO LUNCHEON
The Agawam Rotary Club extends a special invitation to anyone who would like to learn more about membership opportunities in Rotary on Nov. 28. The Agawam Rotary Club meets every Wednesday at 12:15 at Storrowton Tavern in West Springfield. In addition, the guest speaker for this luncheon program is Reverend E. Gage Hotaling, Navy Chaplain during WW II, and retired Baptist minister living in Agawam. His talk will focus on his experiences in Iwo Jima. CHICOPEE
HOME ENERGY SAVING WORKSHOP
The Chicopee Electric Light Dept (CEL) is sponsoring the Home Energy Workshop Dec. 3, 7 p.m., in the conference room of the Chicopee Public Library. The speaker will be Mike Plasski who also performs free home energy audits for CEL customers. The typical family spends more than $1,600 per year on home utility bills. The CEL Energy Saving Workshop offers many low-cost and no-cost ways to save energy. CEL will provide helpful hand-out booklets and a free gift to each attendee.

HOLIDAY CONCERT
The Chicopee Council on Aging and Senior Center annual holiday concert and party featuring the Goldtones on Dec. 6, 1:15 p.m. Come and celebrate the holiday season with great music, great refreshments, great company and more. Call 534-3698 to register.

IN GOOD COMPANY
In Good Company is a support group for people who are feeling blue or experiencing mild depression. Coming to a support group at the Senior Center and being with others can help you to feel better. The next meeting will be held on Dec. 11 at 10 a.m. at the Center, 7 Valley View Ct. There is no fee for this program. LIVING AGAIN
The grief process to the death of a loved one varies depending on individual circumstances. There are many emotions to deal with and learning how to cope with all that has happened can be very difficult. Support groups can provide you with ways to cope with your grieving and the needed support of others. The support group to help those who have suffered the loss of a loved one will be holding a luncheon on Dec. 11 at 1 p.m. at the Chicopee Council on Aging, 7 Valley View Ct. LEARN TO PLAY SCRABBLE

CRAFT FAIR
The Arbors at Chicopee will be holding its first annual Craft Fair on Dec. 8 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The craft fair will have vendors from Pampered Chef and scrapbooking to handmade lamps, knitted blankets, and a bake sale! AUTISM PRESENTATION
"Hope and Acceptance: Inspiration for Families of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders" will be presented Dec. 2 from 2 - 4 p.m. at Elms College, Alumnae Library Theater. Panelists will include John Robison, author of "Look Me in the Eye," Dr. Kathleen Dyer, nationally-recognized expert in autism and Michael Forbes Wilcox. The panel will look at Autism Spectrum Disorders from a variety of perspectives: from first-hand experience to perspectives from parents of children with autism to professional insights upon the increasing numbers of diagnosed cases of autism in the U.S. The event is free and open to the public.

CLERK REMINDERS
Voter Registration: There will be a special town meeting on Dec. 10. If you are not a registered voter and wish to participate at this special town meeting the last day to register is Nov. 30. Voter registration will run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Granby Town Hall; 3-7 p.m. at the Granby Public Library; and 7-8 p.m. at the Granby Town Hall. Warrants for the special town meeting have been posted. FLU CLINIC
The Granby Board of Health announces the annual flu clinic will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church on Nov. 28. The Holyoke Visiting Nurse Association will administer the State supplied vaccine. Recipients of the vaccine must fill out an application form to be submitted to Medicare. Forms are available at the Town Hall, Council on Aging, Phin's Hill and the senior luncheon site. Elders enrolled in a Medicare Advantage Plan must obtain their flu shot through their primary care physician. Residents whose last name begins with A-M must receive the flu shot between 10 a.m.-noon. Those whose last name begins with N-Z will receive the shot between 1 and 3 p.m. There is sufficient vaccine so pre-registration will not be necessary.

CHRISTMAS IN NEW YORK

HOLYOKE
ELKS SPAGHETTI SUPPER
On Nov. 29 the Holyoke Lodge of Elks #902 will serve an all you can eat spaghetti supper from 4-7 p.m. at the Lodge Home on Whitney Avenue. The menu will consist of tossed salad with dressing, spaghetti with Elks special meat sauce, parmesan cheese, plain and garlic rolls, lemonade, coffee or tea. Price is $4.50 for adults, $2 for youngsters six to 12, and free for those five and under. Donations this month will be given to the Westfield YMCA Leaders Club.

BETA ZETA MEETING

HOLIDAY CRAFT AND GIFT FAIR

VOLUNTEER BAKERS NEEDED
Volunteer bakers are needed for the eighth annual Holiday Cookie Sale that benefits the South Hadley Council on Aging. Last year over 90 individuals contributed cookies and bars and organizers were able to give the COA $1234 to be used to assist in their annual Christmas Basket project. Organizers are hoping to top last years donation. Contact the Council on Aging for more info.

ADVENT CRAFT FAIR
The annual Advent Craft Fair will be held on Dec. 7 from 3 - 8 p.m. and Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, 1 Church St. opposite the town common, junction of routes 47 and 116. Forty crafters will be selling handmade creations ranging from jewelry, seasonal decorations, fresh green arrangements, original artwork, photographs, cards, pottery, woven baskets, birdhouses, quilts, wood items, needlework, sewed items, embellished jean jackets, dolls, toys, candles, soap, herbal & baking mixes, cookbooks, jams, candy, etc. The Fair coincides with the annual town holiday festivities on Friday evening including Santa's arrival, the lighting of a Christmas Tree and a stroll around the Common. Free admission, free parking, handicapped accessible facility.

SOUTHWICK
CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSE
The Southwick Council on Aging will be holding its annual Christmas Open House on Dec. 20 at 11 a.m. No congregate lunch will be served that day, we will serve light refreshments and the Do-Re-Mi singers will be singing Christmas carols for everyone to enjoy. Come join the fun and get in the Christmas Spirit. Bring you favorite appetizer or dessert to share with everyone.

RECIPES WANTED FOR COOKBOOK
Southwick Council on Aging would like to put together a cookbook of favorite recipes that will be sold at our Spring Health Fair. If you could get a recipe or two and bring them in to the Senior Center or e-mail them to: councilonaging@southwickma.net. We would greatly appreciate it. This will be a great way to raise funds for our senior center we would greatly appreciate that.

SPRINGFIELD
HOLIDAY CRAFT FAIR
A holiday craft fair sponsored by the Targets Drum and Bugle Corps will take place Dec. 1 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the newly remodeled Greenleaf Community Center, Parker Street. The community center is handicapped accessible and is located directly behind the 16 Acres Library. Thirty local crafters will be on hand to sell Christmas ornaments, silk flowers, jewelry, baby items, wood products, dog treats, ceramics, candles, scrapbooking supplies and other handmade items. "LIGHTS OF LOVE"
The Ronald McDonald House of Springfield announces its annual "Lights of Love" tree lighting ceremony Dec. 1 at the Ronald McDonald House, 34 Chapin Terr., 4:30-6:30 p.m. Ronald McDonald show, Santa and Mrs. Claus, house tours, carolers, cookies and cocoa and the lighting ceremony (at approx. 5:30 p.m.). WESTFIELD
WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE
Eight-week program advising proper nutrition and exercise. You don't have to leave your home or be on any particular program for this challenge. LEARN TO SKI AND SNOWBOARD
Registration is now underway for the 45th annual Ski Scramblers program with the YMCA of Greater Westfield. Saturdays, Jan. 5, 12, 19, Feb. 2 and 9 skiers and snowboarders will converge on the YMCA and board a bus for Otis Ridge Ski Area for five days of lessons and fun on the mountain. Lesson packages range from $175 to $195 and include transportation, lift tickets, lessons and adult supervision. Bus transportation leaves the YMCA at 8:30 a.m. and returns by 4:30 p.m. each day. YOUNG SINGERS FALL CONCERT

HOLIDAY PANCAKE BREAKFAST
Come and celebrate the season at the third annual holiday pancake breakfast. Santa will be on hand to greet the children and take photos. There will be craft tables and gift bags for the children. BENEFIT FOR PARISH CUPBOARD
The Dance team at Louise Noel's Dance and Gymnastics is proud to present the Polar Express benefit performance for the Parish Cupboard on Dec. 16 at 2 p.m. at Mittineague Congregational Church. HOLIDAY TOUR OF HOMES
The West Springfield Boys & Girls Club will be having their Annual Holiday Tour of Homes on Dec. 1 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The tax deductible cost is $15. There will be six homes to tour this year, all in West Springfield. A special luncheon for tour goers will be offered at the Monte Carlo Restaurant from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pilgrim Candles in holiday scents will be available for purchase at each house on the day of the tour. Tickets are available at Sorrento's Pizza, Lally's Pipe n' Book, Elm Street Florist, all in West Springfield, Floral Concepts by Tom in Agawam and at the West Springfield Boys and Girls Club on Main Street. HOLIDAY BAZAAR
The Immaculate Conception Church Social Club is sponsoring a holiday bazaar on Dec. 1. It will be in the school bingo hall on Main Street. Open to the public with plenty of parking. There will be crafts, a Chinese raffle, baked goods, a white elephant sale, handmade items, luncheon refreshments and coffee or tea. The bazaar is from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. There will be a ziti dinner served at 6 p.m. Dinner tickets cost $5. Raffle tickets have been mailed to the parishioners and will be sold after all the masses.
