EAST LONGMEADOW - Local Boy Scout Ian Fullerton, of Troop 275 in East Longmeadow, has been hard at work on his Eagle project for the past few months. His project involves collecting non-perishable goods and cooking and serving a lunch for the Springfield Loaves and Fishes Organization. On March 20, he collected non-perishable goods at Birchland Park Middle School during a St. Michaels' weekly CCD session. He got a great turn out of non-perishable goods from everybody who donated. He will complete his project by cooking and serving a lunch for the organization on April 20 during April vacation. He is asking for any more donations he can get for Loaves and Fishes Organization. If you would like be a part of his project and donate some non-perishable goods please contact Ian at 426-4145 to see where you can donate goods. Troop 275 will meet at St. Paul's Lutheran Church on the corner of Maple and Elm streets on April 15 from 7 to 9 p.m. if you would like to drop off any donations then. Ian Fullerton has put a lot of hard work into this project would greatly appreciate your donations.
