REMEMBERING THEIR FELLOW VETS

Eighty-one-year-old World War II veteran Bill Sherman is surrounded by members of the East Longmeadow High School baseball team as they are about to replace the flags on over 450 grave sites of war veterans for the Memorial Day celebration. Dan Kneeland organized a diverse group who scurried all over town replacing the old tattered flags.
