EAST LONGMEADOW -- The East Longmeadow Board of Selectmen recently honored Boy Scout Troop 275 by presenting them with a citation, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America. Chair Jack Villamaino, a former Cub Scout, said, "It's important to recognize a group that has for many generations instilled in young men the ideals of civic virtue, self-reliance and helping one's neighbors." Brian Falk (second from right), a District Commissioner and advisor to Explorer Post 525, said the Boy Scouts will be hosting a celebration program on Feb. 13 at Eastfield Mall.
