The fifth grade students in Lori Gallerani's class at Blueberry Hill School recently participated in a community service project to collect new unwrapped toys for the Family Program Services at Barnes Air National Guard Base in Westfield. The toys were distributed to nearly 200 children of deployed soldiers at holiday party on Dec. 6. Major Matt Mutti, Wing Executive Staff Officer, and Sandy Wakefield, USO Coordinator, visited the class and discussed the Guard's deployment with the students.
