Science fair draws myriad projects

SPRINGFIELD — Students at the Van Sickle Middle School participated in the annual science fair last week with projects ranging from investigating chlorophyll in plants to analyzing fingerprints to observing the rate of mold in Parmesan cheese.

The top students overall were William Nardi in first place, Jose Vazquez in second place, Atiana Caraballo in third place and Traleck Boyles received an honorable mention.
